Before the big day, we’ll work closely together to understand what’s most important to you. Before Your Wedding: The Preparation
Initial Consultation: Once you’ve inquired with us, we’ll set up a pre-shoot consultation to get to know you, your wedding plans, and your vision for the big day. Whether in person, over the phone, or via Zoom, this is your chance to ask questions, share your ideas, and ensure we’re aligned on how to make your wedding day unforgettable.
Engagement Session: As part of your package, we offer a complimentary engagement session. This is a fun and relaxed way to get comfortable in front of the camera, build rapport, and capture some beautiful, candid photos ahead of your wedding day. Plus, the images make for perfect save-the-date cards or wedding decor!
Planning & Timeline: In the lead-up to the wedding, we’ll stay in close contact to review your timeline and key moments. We’ll help you plan out when and where we’ll be shooting, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you’re after specific shots, or you’re more spontaneous, we’ll tailor our approach to suit your needs.
During Your Wedding: Capturing Every Moment
All-Day Coverage: We’re there from the very beginning – from the getting-ready excitement and nervous moments, all the way to the party at the end of the night. With 6-12 hours of coverage (depending on your package), we’ll capture everything from the small, candid details to the grand moments of your ceremony and reception.
Second Photographer Included: For larger weddings or more comprehensive coverage, a second photographer is included. This ensures every angle and moment is captured, from different perspectives, so no part of your day is missed.
Natural, Storytelling Approach: Our shooting style is relaxed and unobtrusive. We love capturing genuine, emotional moments in a documentary style – whether it's the tears during the vows, the laughter at the speeches, or the joyous celebration on the dance floor. We’ll guide you for portraits but let the day unfold naturally for those authentic moments.
After Your Wedding: The Delivery
Post-Production & Editing: After your wedding, we carefully sort through and enhance every image in our signature style. Each photo is individually retouched, ensuring a polished, beautiful collection that truly reflects the magic of your day. This process takes around 4-6 weeks.
Online Gallery: Once the editing process is complete, you’ll receive access to a password-protected online gallery, where you can view, download, and share all your high-resolution images with family and friends. Depending on your package, you’ll receive anywhere between 200-900 fully edited images that tell the full story of your wedding day.
Final Delivery & Keepsakes: Beyond digital downloads, we can also work with you on additional keepsakes, such as custom wedding albums or prints. These tangible products allow you to treasure your memories for a lifetime.

About My Gear: The Switch to Lumix S5II
Small, fast, lightweight, and responsive—these are the qualities I value most in my camera gear. And while I could be describing myself, I’m actually talking about my new camera system. After years of loyalty to Canon, I decided to switch. Not to Nikon or Sony, but to Panasonic’s Lumix S5II. Yes, Panasonic! Known for microwaves and TVs, they also happen to make exceptional cameras. This transition was a big decision for me, a lifelong Canon shooter, and I want to share why I made the move.
For years, I relied on Canon's DSLRs and later their mirrorless cameras, like the Canon R and the 5D series. But as time went on, I started to feel a disconnect. The introduction of Canon’s RF mount left me with a choice: invest heavily in a new series of lenses or continue using my old EF lenses with adapters. For me, it wasn’t just about the cost—it was about the weight, size, and balance of the gear. Carrying heavier equipment for 10+ hours a day can be demanding, so I knew I needed a setup that wouldn’t compromise my mobility or creativity.
The switch to Lumix came when I realized that Canon’s system, particularly with the added length and weight of the adapters, was becoming a burden. The RF lenses, while great in theory, added even more weight to my gear. For instance, Canon’s RF 24-70mm lens was heavier than my trusted EF equivalent, and the massive RF 28-70 f/2 lens left me struggling during long shoots. I needed a lighter setup that didn’t hold me back.
That’s where the Lumix S5II came in. This camera system, along with lenses like the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 and Lumix 85mm f/1.8, has completely transformed my workflow. It’s lighter, smaller, and more ergonomic, making it easier to move quickly and comfortably throughout long wedding days. Carrying heavy equipment all day became increasingly challenging, so switching to lighter, more ergonomic gear has allowed me to maintain my stamina and creativity—ensuring I’m always at my best to capture your special moments.
We loved the Lumix system so much that when my daughter started her photography college course in 2024, she decided to use Lumix S5 after trying several different systems. It’s the perfect camera for her to learn on, offering everything she needs to not only start her journey but also progress as she hones her skills. I'm thrilled that it's being passed down to inspire a new generation of photographers.
Since writing this post, I have upgraded to the Lumix S1RII — and I’m even happier than before. The S1RII has taken everything I loved about the S5II and pushed it even further, giving me even more resolution, dynamic range, and creative flexibility for my couples' wedding stories.
I feel reinvigorated. The lighter gear has not only eased the strain on my body but also brought a sense of creative freedom back into my work. I no longer feel physically drained at the end of long wedding days, and the silent mode, quick focusing, and dynamic range of the Lumix S1RII and S5II make it a joy to use in any setting.
For those interested, my current kit includes Lumix S5II and Lumix S1RII, the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8, and the Lumix 85mm f/1.8, among others. It’s a setup that allows me to be nimble, adapt to any lighting condition, and, most importantly, capture your wedding day in all its beauty.
Making this switch has truly given me a fresh perspective. I’m now more focused on my compositions, and I feel excited and energized every time I pick up my camera. By removing the obstacles of heavy gear and complex setups, I’ve rediscovered the simple joy of photography—one that allows me to fully immerse myself in your story."
